Never expected a visitor
Designed to keep them out
That's what I manufactured all those years
Under the siege of a tyrant
I needed that protection at the time
Now there's a new visitor
The burst of hope my heart was hoping for
Hidden inside the frozen borders
Designed as an ice wall
As a stone cold breach
You made it to the end
Melting slowly every chunk of ice
Every shard I created
Every cristal I designed
But nothing matters now
Not anymore
The defenses were low but not inexistent
Invisible but not unusable
Waiting for the next horrible pound
Of the heart breaker backstab
In my own foolishness
Expeting something that didn't come
I slowly summoned the shards back
Slowly chilled the terrain
And froze the borders again
I don't know how long will it take
But I do know I won't hold it much longer
The cold expands quick
The ice covers everything in no time
Only the loving touch
The heat of caring
The understanding
The company and the touch
Forgot how good it felt
Frozen Borders
